Tesla is fighting some sort of stomach bug, we think. At least, that's what it seems like. She's happy enough, but she's been ejecting partially digested food from more than the usual orifice. Also, in true Ralph Wiggum fashion, her nose is making it's own bubblegum.
So, I am working at home today. Like I said, she's happy enough. And frankly, considering where I sit in the office, no one would be the wiser if I hadn't sent an e-mail saying I'd be working from home. It's not hard. Tesla is able to entertain herself for a few minutes at a time, which is all I need to get something done. Then I entertain her for a while. Then I do some more work. Easy peasy.
What bothers me is that it's Tuesday, and I should be going to Kenpo tonight (not for sparring, obviously, but for my usual private lesson). But with Tesla home, and the wife not getting home until after 6, there's really no way. Clearly it's a conspiracy to keep me from my extra-curricular activities.
Hopefully, she'll be feeling better tomorrow. Of course, now, chicken pox is the latest illness going around the daycare center, so it's probably better that I keep her home. Plus, I've never had them, so . . . yeah.
We'll see how it all works out. Clearly it's going to be a fun day for me.
